This is Curly Joe!
Curly Joe WAS a Puppy Mill Rescue, then adopted, now back with us. The owners SAID they were moving, again….not a good reason in our books. He was adopted again recently but was returned as the adopters said he liked one adopter more than the other…..again, given time, this would not have been an issue. He is a very sweet and a little shy and just needs a patient owner . He is 3 years old (Mar ’09), so he will be 4 this March, and is a pretty party colored Cocker Spaniel. He has had a very hard life and it was very gratifying to save him from a terrible life living in a cage. His old owners said he is housebroken and very sweet. If you can find a place in your heart and home for this little guy and give him a loving FOREVER home, please come and see him at the shelter. Curly Joe needs to be in a home that is not too noisy, and with older kids only please (15 years and up). Please note that all our rescues are to live inside the family home.

When I volunteered at Spencer’s, there was an American Cocker Spaniel/Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Mix that looked just like him. His name was Elvis! He was a very very sweet dog! One of my favorites! He had the head of a Cocker, and the body of a Cavalier.
